I have moved to his new house where my 93 year old neighbor has lived for over 20 years. She and her daughter have been so nice, they take care of my trash barrels and mail packages. But sadly they are moving out! I wanted to thank them for the brief period of having them as my nice neighbors and wish them well at their new house in Salem, Massachusetts.

6 course dinner

Summer pea soup, adapted from Eleven Madison Park

English peas, mint, buttermilk, prosciutto crisp


Truffled chicken with asparagus and morel, adapted from Eleven Madison Park

pan roasted Chicken breasts stuffed with truffle, green and white asparagus, morel mushrooms, chicken cream of mushroom sauce


Roasted onion with almonds and black olives, adpated from Michel Bras

Heart of onion slow roasted for 3 hours, topped with red wine vinaigrette and a almond/black olive powder


Dry aged steak, summer bean ragout, wild mushrooms, with mushroom bordelaise sauce

Dry aged steak pan seared with goat cheese truffle butter; ravioli filled with porcini mushrooms; ragout of haricots verts, romano beans, yellow wax beans, etc, cooked with Savory cream; classic bordelaise sauce enforced with mushroom stock


Pre desert: Chilled strawberry soup with champagne ice


Desert: ginger ice cream, lemon sorbet, chocolate cayene cookie, grilled peaches


They found the presentation to be a fussy overall, but greatly enjoyed the dishes!
